SCS OS Work Entry Notifications
Program Description
The SCS OS SMS notification program provides text message notifications to SCS Multifamily employees regarding work entries they submit through the SCS OS internal application (ops.scsmultifamily.com). When a project manager rejects a submitted work entry, the worker receives an SMS notification with a link to view the entry and the option to reply with a comment or photo. Messages are sent from a Twilio-powered toll-free number operated by SCS Multifamily LLC.
Who Can Receive Messages
This program is exclusively for active employees of SCS Multifamily LLC who have created an account in SCS OS and explicitly opted in to receive SMS notifications. The program is not used for marketing, promotional, or advertising messages of any kind.
How to Opt In — Explicit Consent Required
Opting in to SMS notifications requires affirmative, explicit action by the employee. No messages will be sent without your consent. To opt in:
- Sign in to SCS OS at ops.scsmultifamily.com.
- Navigate to your Profile page.
- Under Notification Preferences, check the box labeled “I agree to receive SMS notifications from SCS Multifamily regarding my work entries. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time.”
- Click Save to confirm your preference.
By checking this box, you expressly consent to receive recurring automated text messages from SCS Multifamily LLC at the mobile phone number associated with your SCS OS account. The checkbox is unchecked by default; you must actively check it to opt in. SCS OS records the exact timestamp, IP address, and user-agent string at the moment of opt-in for compliance verification.
Consent is not required as a condition of employment or any other service. You may perform all work entry tasks in SCS OS without enabling SMS notifications. Opting out will not affect your employment status in any way.
Sample Message
Below is an example of the type of message you may receive:
“SCS OS: Your work entry for [Project Name] on [Date] was returned for revision. View details: [link]. Reply STOP to opt out.”
Message Frequency
Approximately 0–5 messages per worker per week, depending on how often a worker’s submitted entries require revision. Most workers will receive fewer than 1 message per week. Message frequency varies based on your work entry submission activity.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. SCS Multifamily does not charge for the messages themselves, but your wireless carrier’s standard text messaging and data rates apply. Please contact your carrier for details about your plan.

How to Opt Out
You may opt out at any time using either of these methods:
- Reply STOP to any message. You will receive a single confirmation message reading “You have been unsubscribed from SCS OS notifications. No further messages will be sent. Reply HELP for assistance.” No additional messages will be sent after that.
- Uncheck the consent box in your SCS OS profile under Notification Preferences. Your opt-out takes effect immediately.
After opting out, you can re-subscribe at any time by checking the consent box again in your SCS OS profile.
Supported Carriers
Messages are deliverable on major US carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and Sprint. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. T-Mobile is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
